The Downtown Hoedown has been coming to Detroit every year since 1983 , it is mostly recognized as the largest Country Music Festival of it's kind in the entire world. The year 2014 marked the WYCD Downtown Hoedowns 32nd anniversary! 2014 was the festivals biggest year to date the festival surpassed all past years. From May 30th through June 2nd, the Downtown Hoedown saw the most response to the event that it ever has. This years line up headlined with The Band Perry and Dierks Bentley! There were so many more artist in 2014s line up! On Friday, May 30th, patrons were treated to Chase Rice, Jon Pardi, Chris Young and headliner Dierks Bentley. On Saturday, June 1st, Gunnar and The Grizzley Boys, Austin Webb, Natlie Stovall, Drake White and The Big Fire, Love and Theft and Tyler Farr all played for the people of the Hoedown. Sunday, June 2nd patrons we're treated to The Cadillac Three, The Swon Brothers, Craig Campbell, Big and Rich and headliners The Band Perry! Some people will only attend for one, or two days. However, true diehard Country fans are known to buy tickets for all three days to see all of their favorite Country performers and up and coming Country artists! This is the one and only place that you'll have the chance to see this many Country music artists in one place! The Hoedown offers three day passes to the event, but they sell out quickly, so get them as soon as they're on sale. You can also get singular tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A portion of all ticket proceeds will go to benefit Defeat The Label charity, which promoted a bully free society without stereotypes and social labels.
