Metro Detroit's #1 Party Bus Service!
Miller's Bar hasn't changed much since it first opened in 1941. However, anyone you ask, will tell you that this is one of the many endearing qualities of this timeless Dearborn establishment. Just to demonstrate how good their burgers are, we'll brag about their award winning burgers for them, as they are simply the best we've ever had! The readers of metromix will agree, as Miller's won first place for best burger in Metro Detroit! The culture of Miller's hasn't changed since their inception either. They believe in the honor system as a business model, and trust their customers to be honest. To explain: When you're ready to pay, they don't give you a check. You simply walk up to the bartender and tell him what you had. That's what you'll pay for! Interesting mode of operation in this day and age. We enjoy Miller's as much for their delicious food, as for their old time setup. If you give them a try while out on your partybus, we're sure you wont' be disappointed!
Every area has it's mainstay. In this area near downtown Dearborn, La Pita is as much of a mainstay as any in Dearborn. Featuring the finest Middle Eastern cuisine in an area saturated with Middle Eastern restaurants is saying something. Unlike may of their competitor's lamb, La Pita has the best lamb chops, shish ka bob, and other fine lamb dishes you can find! The wait staff has always been friendly and prompt in their dealings with us, regardless of how busy they are... which can be very busy during peak hours. They also cater and have banquet facilities! This is a prime spot to reserve a banquet for your party bus group! Give them a try, we're certain that your experience will be as awesome as ours was!
A unique twist on a sports bar can be found at Chris Chelios' "Cheli's Chili Bar". For those who don't know, Chris Chelios was a famous hall of fame hockey player who came to fame in Chicago with the Blackhawks, and then later on with the Detroit Red Wings. He now runs a couple of chili bars, one of which is in the fine downtown area of Dearborn. They offer a great atmosphere to view one of the local games, and a wide array of delicious food to satisfy your hunger as you cheer on your team! Give their mainstay Chili a try, or go with the popular wings. Either way, you can't go wrong!
Roman Village is known for their awesome traditional Italian food, their friendly service, top notch atmosphere, and surprisingly affordable prices. Especially notable is their delicious pizza. Many of their traditional pasta dishes feature home-made pasta, as well as the home-made sauce which is featured on all of their dishes. Their servers are all friendly and usually one step ahead of their guests, offering suggestions for accompanyments. We've never been steered wrong by their staff, and have always been treated like royalty. They have banquet facilities, so it will be an ideal place to visit on your Party Bus!
A perennial downtown Dearborn Favorite, the Post Bar delivers on all counts. They have a superb selection of beer, liquor, and cocktails. As well as providing excellent bar favorite type foods. If you're ever in the area, we recommend giving them a try, as we've been fortunate in having a great time at this local establisment every time we've been there.
We're going to break a little bit from our norm and offer up a relaxing suggestion for spending some time in a luxurious locale... a locale which is a great place to acquire and enjoy a high quality cigar. The building has seen a few different iterations over the years and is currently owned by John who is often on premesis to offer knowledgeable advice on cigars or other tobacco products they offer. They have televisions on the premesis as well as luxurious leather couches and chairs which provide an comfortable atmosphere to sit back and chat with the locals as you're gently drawing on a delicious hand-rolled cigar. They have a solid selection of other tobacco products and accessories, so the next time you're in the area Don Yeyo is a great place to visit and get to know the area a bit.
