A quickly growing chain that began in Michigan in 2008, they already have 18 locations in 3 states. While they are mostly known as a burger joint, thanks to all their amazing prime-rib locallly sourced grain fed burgers like their Train Wreck Burger that is just stacked with cheddar cheese, a sunny side up egg, some of their hand cut fries, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, thousand island dressing on a grilled sesame brioche bun. They have a bunch of Turkey burgers, black bean turkey chili, mac & cheese, and some really fresh and tasty salads including their Bagger's Backyard BBQ Chicken Salad. Lastly, they have some great desserts, shakes, malts and floats.
It's hard to believe that anyone from Michigan isn't aware of Leo's Coney Island, they have 60 locations across Michigan. Oh course they serve up one of the best Coney dogs in the area, in addition to all the other standard diner options like burgers, sandwiches, fish & chips, and a killer breakfast lineup, but they also have some Greek specialties, such as the crowd favorite saganaki "Opa" melty cheese dish, Gyro's Mousaka, Kebobs, and Pitas. The menu is solid across the board it's hard to believe you won't like whatever you get here. Even their Stir-Fry served over rice with pita is good.
Palm Palace isn't the average Mediterranean joint you may be familiar with this is a nice upscale middle eastern experience. You will notice this as soon as you pull up, the building itself looks like you are about to walk-in an Arabian castle, the kids will love the decor and bright colored tapistries. Of course you will want to order their award winning hommus, but another really good appetizer is their Mediterranean Coconut Shrimp battered, tossed in coconut & fried up golden brown. As for you meal, if you aren't quiet sure about what you should get we recommend ordering their Signature Combo, consisting of one shish kafta, four fried kibbie and four lamb grape leaves.
