Without a doubt, Como's is the most well known and notable establishment within the friendly bounds of "Fashionalbe Ferndale"! They've been a mainstay in the area, having opened in 1961 and has been in continual operation since then. They feature a wonderfully friendly atmosphere, and have an awesome outdoor area for the summer months. The food is spectacularly delicious... you must especially try the pizza! Find them on the corner of Woodward and 9 Mile Road.
Boogie Fever is inherently true to it's name, and is quite reminiscent of the great party decade of the 70's. So whenever you're feeling nostalgic, or want a taste of an era long passed by, you will certainly want to spend a Friday or Saturday night at this disco. When you step in, you'll step back in time as you take in the view of disco balls, spinning lights, and awesome 70's music. This place is a one of a kind in Michigan, and well worth the time to get there. You'll find the Fever North of 9 Mile on Woodward.
This popular eatery is such a notable and unique location that it was even featured on the Food Network! You'll certainly appreciate the consistently awesome food you get here, as well as the wonderfully unusual and tasty variety of dishes offered. With such offerings as, Green Eggs and Ham, Guillermo Shatner, or Rumble of Seitan with Roasted Asparagus; we are sure you'll find something uncommonly delicious for your palate!
Soho is a friendly, cozy Jazz bar right in the heart of Ferndale. We've always enjoyed this locale to sit back, relax, enjoy some music, and get to know some cool people. Occasionally, you'll pop in to find some karaoke going on, which is always a great time! Although the prices may be a touch above average, the atmosphere provided is well worth the added expense. Their staff is always very competent and friendly, and always willing to lend some advice on a great drink! Find them just West of Woodward on 9 Mile Road.
