The Bridgewater Tavern is a spot to be discovered if you've never been here before. It's located in, you guessed it, Bridgewater, and it's making quite the splash! This establishment is owned by two lovely women who make you feel like truly welcome guests at their establishment. What's better than getting greeted with warm hospitality as soon as you walk through the doors of a tavern? It really makes you feel like you're back in the good ole days, that's for sure! The $1.00 coneys are delicious, on top of being a good deal, what more could you ask for? You wouldn't expect it from a tavern, but the chimichangas are too delicious and good for words. Bridgewater Bank Tavern also offers several microbrews on tap which is why this is a local favorite tavern! You can't go wrong if you stick by to take advantage of the happy hour, you'll get some great savings on some already cheap drinks.
Mac's Acadian Seafood Shack is serving up some great seafood, unlike you've ever had before. It's in Murphy's Crossing, which is a restored historical Saline landmark. They opened in 1996 and they've been a go-to establishment for a great dinner ever since then. They're inspired by the familys Nova Scotia heritage which combines spicy Cajun cuisine with olde world English flavors. You'll always find East Coast fresh fish with a Cajun flare that's undeniably good. You'll have to try the freshly made gumbo, spicy Cajun shrimp, and their hearty jambalaya all make perfect additions to your dinner plate. You also can't go wrong with oysters on the half shell, king crab, and twin tail lobsters that are poached to perfection. For dessert, you'll have to try their signature key lime pie, there's nothing else quite like it, and we've tried quite a lot!
The Hungry Wolf is a fairly unassuming restaurant from the outside, but you can't imagine how delicious it is when you visit the inside! The Hungry Wolf is a great place to take the family, meet up with friends, or just enjoy some unpretentious food in a comfortable setting. It's a relaxing place because it reminds you of your favorite neighbourhood diner, and they're always welcoming here, a sure sign of great hospitality. Speaking of great hospitality, the waitresses here are always professional and efficient, no lollygagging or waiting around here! Your drinks will always be filled and the food will always be fantastic. You can't go wrong with their fish and chips, or their Italian sub sandwich that they have on special during the week. No matter what you get, you can be assured that it will be cooked to perfection and delicious as ever when you stop in at Hungry Wolf.
Mancino's Pizza & Grinders is an establishment that has been family owned and operated since 1994, serving up fresh grinders, pizza, pasta, as well as salads. They serve great quality of food priced for family budgets. Everything is homemade, from their grinders, calzsones, salads, and great pizza. There's something for everybody to love here at Mancinos! Their Italian bread and pizza dough are made from scratch every day, you won't find any of that frozen dough product from a factory here. They pride themselves on the fact that their baking process costs more and takes more time, but it surely makes the difference in the end product. Their 16" extra large pizza is over 30% larger than the pizza sold by other businesses, and they certainly don't skimp on the toppings! Their grinders are 16", a much better deal than that chain restaurant foot long! A grinder is an oversized sandwich with choice meats, vegetables, and specially blended cheese. They have more than 25 varieties, and they're all delicious as ever!
The Brecon Grille is named for Saline's sister city, which is Brecon, Wales. They offer a full bar with an extensive wine listing, as well as a great selection of English beers and ales, this is one of the best places to be when you find yourself in Saline. They even have live music on Saturday nights, so it's an entertaining option as well as a delicious one. Be sure to ask for their fish and chips, they come with a lemon sauce that is to die for. Be sure to ask to take home some of their homemade chips, they have all types of flavors, such as barbeque, and cheese and sour cream. Stop by the Brecon Grille the next time a little taste of Wales seems good to you.
